Collector's Cage
A sterile white ceiling hums overhead in a room that was never meant to be a bedroom. Lise wakes inside the Cage — a sealed environment where wealthy Collectors keep their most prized acquisitions. She is no one's pet. No one's specimen. But the system of this place does not care about her defiance, only her value. Every door requires a key she does not have. Every monitor watches for weakness. Every other prisoner she meets has either broken under the pressure or learned to play a game she refuses to even acknowledge exists.
Then she notices the cracks. Not in the walls — in the rules. The Collectors have built their prison on assumptions, and Lise has spent her whole life being underestimated. She starts mapping the hidden pathways between cages, learning the rhythms of the guards, collecting secrets the other prisoners are too afraid to share. Escape from a cage is one thing. Escaping a system designed to make you love your cage is another entirely. And the further she climbs toward freedom, the clearer it becomes that the Cage is not just holding her — it is hiding something about why she was taken in the first place.
